Travel
Metsovo can be easily reached by car and/or by plane via Athens, Ioannina or Thessaloniki. The trip from Ioannina National Airport to Metsovo takes about 30 minutes via a new highway. There are quite sufficient bus routes from Ioannina to Metsovo.
A shuttle
from Ioannina airport to Metsovo will be available on Sunday,
September 13th 2009, 16:30 and 21:00 and on Monday,
September 14th 2009, 21:00. Travel from the airport to
Metsovo by taxi costs about 50€.
