Dissertation Award in Nuclear Physics

Awarded by Nuclear Physics Board - on behalf of the Nuclear Physics
Division of the European Physical Society. The award recognizes the
excellency of a recent Ph. D. in Nuclear Physics.

Nominations are open to any person who has received a Ph.D. degree in
experimental, theoretical or applications of nuclear physics in a country
which is member of the EPS within the three-year period 2009-2011.
Nominations on http://www.nipne.ro/npd-eps-phd-prize/index.php should
include:

   The details of the nominee (name, professional address, email, phone)
   A copy of the Ph.D. Diploma/Certificate showing the date it was awarded.
   An electronic copy of the Thesis together with a Summary (4-5 pages) in English.
   A copy of any publication directly related to the candidate`s PhD studies.
   A letter of support from the candidate`s thesis advisor (max. 2 pages).
   Two additional letters of support from physicists who are familiar with the candidate and the research (max. 1 page each).

Deadline for application is January 31, 2012

The Award Ceremony will take place at the European Nuclear Physics
Conference, September 17-21, 2012 - Bucharest, Romania
