Σε συνέχεια της ενημέρωσης για το πρόγραμμα ASEMUNDUS, σας προωθούμε νέο μήνυμα ηλεκτρονικού ταχυδρομείου αναφορικά με τη διοργάνωση σεμιναρίων δικτύωσης στην Μπανγκόκ της Ταϊλάνδης (2-3 Απριλίου 2012) και στην Σεούλ της Κορέας (15-16 Μαΐου 2012). Στα σεμινάρια αυτά πρόκειται να συμμετάσχουν εκπρόσωποι Ιδρυμάτων Ανώτατης Εκπαίδευσης από την Ευρώπη και την Ασία (Ταϊλάνδη, Βιετνάμ, Μαλαισία, Σιγκαπούρη – Κορέα, Ιαπωνία, Κίνα). Στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος έχει εκδοθεί ανακοίνωση για την παροχή χρηματοδότησης της συμμετοχής εκπροσώπων ευρωπαϊκών Ιδρυμάτων Ανώτατης Εκπαίδευσης, προκειμένου να αναπτύξουν επαφές, με στόχο την προώθηση κοινών προγραμμάτων. Ως καταληκτική ημερομηνία υποβολής αιτήσεων έχει τεθεί η 12η Φεβρουαρίου 2012. Το μέγιστο ποσό χρηματοδότησης είναι €2.500, ενώ 20% του συνολικού ποσού θα πρέπει να καλυφθεί από κάθε συμμετέχοντα.
Το ASEMUNDUS είναι μια δραστηριότητα στο πλαίσιο του ευρωπαϊκού προγράμματος Erasmus Mundus, η οποία συντονίζεται από την Εθνική Δομή της Γερμανίας (DAAD), με τη συμμετοχή αντίστοιχων υπηρεσιών της Ολλανδίας, του Βελγίου, της Αυστρίας, της Ουγγαρίας, της Πολωνίας, της Λιθουανίας, της Εσθονίας και της Κύπρου.

The Calls for Proposals for financial support for participation of European Higher Education representatives in the upcoming networking seminars in Bangkok, Thailand (April 2-3, 2012,) and in Seoul, Korea (May 15-16, 2012 ) organized by the ASEMUNDUS project, has been published on the ASEMUNDUS homepage.

On April 2-3, 2012, and on May 15-16, 2012 a networking seminar on higher education cooperation will take place in Bangkok, Thailand and in Seoul, Korea, respectively. The seminar will provide a networking and matchmaking opportunity and promote joint study programmes between Europe and Asia. The seminar will gather European and Asian (Thai/Vietnamese/Malaysian/Singaporean or Korean/Japanese/Chinese) higher education representatives. European higher education representatives interested in a participation can receive financial support to cover travel and subsitence costs.
The EU-funded project "Euro-Asia.net" will financially support selected European higher education representatives to
participate in the networking seminar in Bangkok or Seoul with the aim to initiate contacts, search for appropriate Asian (Thai/Vietnamese/Malaysian/Singaporean or Korean/Japanese/Chinese) partners and possibly create a project consortium. A market place, organised at these seminars will allow participants to present project ideas and match with appropriate partners.
European university representatives can apply for cofunding of travel and subsistence costs. The maximum total amount eligible for funding is EUR 2.500 and it is important to note that 20% of the total amount have to be funded by the applicant`s own ressources.
Applications need to present a convincing project plan on how to profit from participation in the seminar and initiate new European-Asian
higher education cooperation projects.
